Ravna Gora is located in the center of Gorski Kotar, 45 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, between Rijeka and Karlovac.
"Ravna Gora" in the Croatian language means a connection among the mountains, fields, and meadows.

It is located 800 meters above the sea level surrounded by untouched nature, rich with the clean air and water. It is a destination for cyclists, mountaineers and nature lovers.

There are about 3000 inhabitants. Parts of Municipality of Ravna Gora also are: Kupjak, Leskova Draga, Stari Laz, Stara Sušica and Šije.

Ravna Gora provides many restaurants and pensions, suites and alpine huts for visitors.
During your visit to Ravna Gora you may visit cultural sights which include Javorova Kosa with it's God's Well, which according to legend is an ever-flowing healing well.
